- Power the gateway off by unplugging the power cord or tuning the power switch off
- Use the Ethernet cable that was shipped with your Portal to connect the Ethernet port in the back of the gateway to the WAN port in the back of Portal
- Power on the gateway and then your Portal
Portal’s status LED will initially be RED until it passed an internal power-on self-test and it connects to the internet. It will then light up BLUE to indicate that it is able to connect to the internet. If Portal needs to update its firmware, the status LED will blink BLUE. Otherwise, it should become a steady GREEN, indicating Portal is connected to the internet and ready to be configured.
